"The Elyséenne", Tableware project for the Presidency of the Republic
For the transition to the year 2000, the house Chastagner, porcelain manufacturer in Limoges, asks Christophe Lemaître a tableware project for the Presidency of the Republic. In this creation, Christophe Lemaître lends his eye, his knowledge and his artistic sensibility to the art of tableware. With "L’Elyséenne", he marks crosswalks in the second millennium by giving us the essence of his art, combining tradition and modernity. Epitome of a perfect harmony of genres, this piece of art flairs both the sculptural style of Arman and César, masters of the art of composition and compression, as jewelers Chaumet and Mauboussin, specialists in the contrast "mat / polished " in the surface treatment of gold. Limoges porcelain is the most elegant support for this work and offers the purest materials to mix styles, making jewelery designer Christophe Lemaître, a master in the field. Everything is there to honor our heavy and wonderful heritage. Everything is there to embody the prestige of our Parisian monuments: the elegance of our Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum charisma with its Pyramid, the Invalides, the Madeleine, the Sainte Chapelle, the Pantheon, the Sacred Heart ... |
